Description
The Green Spey fishing fly is a classic Atlantic salmon fly that is also effective for steelhead and other anadromous fish. It is a versatile fishing fly that can be fished in a variety of conditions, but is particularly well-suited for slightly off-colored water or glacial flows. The Green Spey is typically tied with a green chenille body, yellow or orange tag, and a mixed wing of teal, mallard, and golden pheasant tippet feathers. It can be tied on a variety of hook sizes, but is most commonly tied on sizes 2-12
